Dr. Pirzada participated as resource person in the:
- Workshop on Human Security organised by Urban Secuirity And Rescue(USAR)- a Swedish intiative,at USAR Academy Karachi on 14th May 2009.He spoke on Food Security-Human security nexus,and argued that poverty & hunger make people angry,threatening human security.
-Panel discussion on 'Agriculture & Food Security' at National Management College(NMC)- earlier Pakistan administrative Staff College,NIPA & Civil Services Academy on 20th May 2009.
He has been invited by the'The International Association of Agricultural Economist(IAAE)' to participate in the IAAE International Conference-2009 as resource person.His paper coauthored with Prof.Giruad of France on' Where the Basmati rice comes from?' has been accepted by the Conference for presentation in August 2009.
